Hello, I was just wondering how to detect what computers are on a public network. I do not intend to do anything malicious to their computer… It is a public network with no encryption… I can do a manual way but a program would be more helpful… Thanks in advance.
You can use a program to scan the ip range of that network, and report back its results. I do this using a program that is freely available called Advanced IP Scanner v1.5.
