I’ve been getting a lot of FPS lag in this game I play called GunZ. I know you all think it’s a crappy game, but I love it. When I’m around a lot of people, my FPS lowers from about 250 to 50. The reason is because I have a Pentium 4, 2.4GHz Dual Core. I have 2 GB RAM (DDR2 667) On their forums they told me my computer was shit, so I’m going to upgrade the processor and motherboard (IF THAT’S THE PROBLEM). What motherboard and processor should I get?
My current RAM is this, I want the new motherboard to be compatible with this RAM (IF POSSIBLE).
So my question is, what motherboard and processor should I get to reduce my FPS lag? AND is my processor my problem?
My graphics card is an nVidia 8400 256MB. Also there is a special configuration I’m using which lowers the graphics to 8 bit color.
it is most likely your graphics card is not good enough, the cpu is fine as is the ram. just upgrade the graphics card
